International Women's Day
International Women's Day has been celebrated on March 8 since 1911. Every year, thousands of events take place to mark the economic, political and social achievements of women. This year's theme is 'Make it Happen', encouraging effective action for advancing and recognizing women.

You can also dig back into the past and find out how we got to where we are today.
